I've been living in a vacation bubble.
I admit, I've been spoiled with maids to make the bed, wash the dishes, and clean up around our hotel room. I will miss my days by the pool reading. Bbq's and friends!! But all good things come to an end.
Ted is getting demobilized tomorrow which means back to Philadelphia we go. Its bitter-sweet. Coming 'home' for an extended visit was so amazingly refreshing for me. Now, reality is when I get on that plane I'm taking a plunge back into making home feel like 'home'. I'm excited and a bit hesitant. I miss my things, all my clothes I didn't pack, and my kitchen for sure. I'm sure we have a DVR filled with goodies that I'll never be able to catch up on. I have loads of pictures from our trip down here. Unfortunately, my computer crashed last week. So, I'm waiting for a friend to revive my hard drive to retrieve all my goodies. Remember always to back up your files on an external drive or internet share. I'm bad at this and times like these happen and I kick myself for it.

Crashed!! Oh wow, that's no fun & quite devastating! I hope everything gets fixed okay. Oh vacation mode is so wonderful, but only if we could bring it back home with us. Usually my house is a wreck for about a week after I return home, just because I'm in "leisure" mode.
