our rowhome is one BIG hazard.

our boy is a hazard.

he keeps mamas heart pumping and knees knocking. it takes only 17 seconds to DART across the safety zone of a living room we have going to everything dangerous.

17 seconds... his best time yet for crawling to the outlet.
17 seconds... to eat the completely dried out Christmas tree, we have been meaning to put up in flames.
17 seconds... to pulling himself up the staircase.
17 seconds... to pushing up underneath the exposed wood staircase.

seventeen seconds, ya'll, for this mama to take a break and check instagram. my two eyes are glued to my boy pulling him back into safety. this crawling business is no joke. when i pull up our trap door to enter the basement... i lock him up.. with extra buckles because the boy likes to squirm his way out of anything for the chance to explore.

it's like he's waiting for the moment i look away... ready, set, DESTROY.
