Its hard to believe, it was only a month ago that we set off Northeastern bound. Saying farwell's to our family and friends, we couragiously drove off to Pennsylvania. It's as if our old life evaporated into thin air. Hours on the road, a massive moving truck (that your unprepared to drive), a car hitched on the back of the monster, classic road trip tunes, and the joys of starting a new life together. Surprisely the trip went pretty smoothly. We learned to never back up with a trailer hitch, buying cement and then weighing the truck really works, and gained a respect for fellow truckers.
A few days later, we arrived. A week later, we moved in. A week and a few days later,
I find myself attempting to attack boxes and set up our new place. Today, Ted left for his first day at work. Whats a girl to do? He's been off for a month! This means I really do need to get our home into order and apply for jobs (or blog).
The city is perfect. We live smack-dab in the middle of it. I look our my window and see it all. We are blocks from everything the park, grocery store, museums, resturants, great shopping (anthro, club monaco, urban, buffalo, west elm, ikea), local coffee spots, Philadelphia has it all even dunkin donuts at every corner (I had forgot how much the Northeast loves their dunkin).
