It's Mardi Gras season

..and I'm far-far away from all the traffic. 

Living right on the parade route my last few years in New Orleans had it's highs and lows. 

So, this year not only missing out on the festivities but on some of my friends newest endeavors with the New Orleans style magazine Amelie G. My sweet friend Keeva (she also serenaded us at our wedding) was the hair stylist for the last shoot for the current spread.
