I Then Shall Live

3.22.2015

Our friends, Luke & Zoey, are in St. Thomas visiting for the week. Ted took off and it feels like the best stay-cation ever. We've kept each day full of laying on the beach where the boys surfed, the girls snorkeled, and Wells ran and played. I even got to relax all day on Friday when Wells was at the sitters. We worked on interesting tan lines and laughed through conversations. All is so good for our souls. Wells has been smiling from ear to ear and is loving having them here. It really makes me sad that we don't live close anymore for his sake. He absolutely loves them and smothers Zoey constantly with affection and keeps Luke busy making him laugh. We've also have enjoyed happy hour every night (with virgin drinks for me) and finish each night with laughs on our breezy balcony. Today, we took them to our church and the service really was one of the best we've experienced. Below is a hymn that we all sung and all kept talking about throughout the day. It was just too good not to share, enjoy.

I Then Shall Live

I then shall live as one who's been forgiven; I'll walk with joy to know my debts are paid. I know my name is clear before my Father; I am his child, and I am not afraid. So greatly pardoned, I'll forgive an other; the law of love I gladly will obey.

I then shall live as one who's learned compassion; I've been so loved that I'll risk loving, too. I now how fear builds walls instead of bridges; I dare to see an other's point of view. And when relationships demand commitment, then I'll be there to care and follow through.

Your kingdom come around and through and in me, your power and glory, let them shine through me; your hallowed name, oh, may I bear the honor, and may your living kingdom come in me. The Bread of Life, oh, may I share with honor, and may you feed a hungry world through me.
