Two days before we left Philadelphia, we celebrated an *early* first birthday. Wells was just a few days over ten months. It was a perfect day in that park with our close friends. Each person RSVPed with their pop flavor choice. Each babe had their own popsicle, bubbles in a popsicle container to bring home, and a ride on the carousel. Wells had a Coconut Hibiscus pop. Other flavors were Early Grey with Black Pepper (one of my favorites), Lemon Blueberry Buttermilk, Vietnamese Iced Coffee (my other favorite), Mango Chile, and Raspberry Lemonade. Thanks for everyone who made it out to celebrate our little ONE year old. We loved having you with us and are so thankful for how you have loved our son.
I would not recommend throwing a party when you are homeless, but it actually turned out to be great! Franklin Square was perfect location and Lil Pop Shop delivered on the pops. We passed around watermelon too. Wells was all smiles and enjoyed his first party.
